Coco Key Eco-Lodge is located on Isla San Cristobal. Depending on the weather, a boat ride to Bocas Town is only 10 to 15 minutes. The house sits on 6 acres of manicured land with 180-degree ocean views. Walking the property, you will see fruit and nut trees, banyan trees, a creek, and various wildlife, including sloths. You can snorkel, kayak, and paddle board off the dock to an indigenous village. The 6 acre property is located between an old growth jungle and the Caribbean Sea. The house sits in the middle of the property and the only other residence on the property is the caretaker. (From Dec. 15-Jan 7th my wife and I will be in a separate house on the property, 50 yards and out of sight from the main house where you will stay.) The house is off-the-grid, solar powered with a rain catchment system and fast satellite Wi-Fi. The house includes 2-bedroom unit which has a living room, kitchen, and bathroom with a shower. A breezeway separates the master bedroom suite from the 2-bedroom, making it more private. The Master Bedroom Suite is across the breezeway from the 2-bedroom. This unit has a large dressing room and spacious bathroom with shower. A large deck surrounds the front of the house, with plenty of seating for relaxation and dining and beautiful views of the ocean. The property is beautifully landscaped with 40+ varieties of fruits and nuts. In the land of perpetual summer, there is always something ripe and ready. There are also large variety of flowers, orchids, and tropical flowering bushes. This property is safe, quiet, and secluded with natural borders and fences.
