Had a very good time during my stay. The place was beautiful and quiet, and the reception at Darwin lake’s holiday village were very polite, and extremely helpful in helping my small group of 6 with anything we needed, even helping us secure a taxi for an event we had planned. Would definitely recommend this for a short stay or a weeks getaway.

Lovely place to stay. Good for a family or friends gathering. Host not responsive before arrival and no check in details.We arrived and the house was dark and no-one around. Had to drive a couple of miles to get phone signal. When we where able to speak to someone he was very helpful though surprised to hear from us. After that the problem was sorted out and we got into the house. It was cold to begin with but soon warmed up. Do not think we where expected. We enjoyed the rest of our stay comfortable, quiet and warm.

The downstairs wetroom was great as one of our party had mobility issues following recent surgery. The house itself was nice although it would've been nice if we'd been warned about the building works at the rear.

the setting is lovely accommodation is first rate also all the members of staff i met were very helpful & obviously happy in there work never been to such a friendly holiday village
