位置非常好，打开门就是漂亮的老城广场。装潢很棒，而且非常有意思。管家很热心，耐心给我们解释，给我们很多帮助。总之，是一次很愉快的入住体验。

Location is excellent and the apartment is very cool, especially if you like bold design choices! Unfortunately (especially as I read other reviews) we found out the inestimable Yari was not in town for our stay. There was confusion when we arrived and thankfully our driver was able to communicate with Yari’s brother, Orlando for directions. He helped a bit with luggage up three flights of hot, dark stairs. Instead of Yari, we had Evelyn. She was super sweet but had very limited English. Thankfully our tour guide in Havana could help us with reservations/taxis/etc, because I don’t know if Evelyn could have. There was a pretty extreme septic smell in the apartment which we tried to communicate to Evelyn, but to no avail. Breakfast was very basic and it was the same thing every morning. No mini bar, no water despite it being on the listing. Also, one bedroom is the “penthouse suite” the other is basic (no closet/hangers) and using the small bathroom on the other side of the apartment.

Marie‘s Airbnb is amazing. If this was an Airbnb in Paris or Rome it would be out of reach financially it is so beautiful, large with high ceilings and beautiful artwork. I slept so well on the very comfortable bed and the air conditioning in the rooms was wonderful. The kitchen/living space has no air-conditioning but it does have a large fan and truly it’s not really needed because the cold air from the bedrooms migrates and it doesn’t get that hot. We were a little nervous when we had not heard back a few days prior but ultimately we were put in touch with the housekeeper who walked out to meet us when we arrived in a taxi and all was good. There are some things that have to do with Cuba rather than this Airbnb, like having to throw toilet paper in a trashcan rather than in the toilet. But this is just a function of how old the plumbing and the buildings are, if you want to come to Cuba this is a perfect location. The view and feeling from the rooftop was magical as was our stay ❤️

Communication could be improved. With Marie in a different country and the house manager living an hour away from the property, efficient communication is lacking. Messages went unanswered and requested information was never received. The lack of consistent, straightforward communication impacted the quality of the stay. Marie went so far as to say the information had been provided, when it clearly never had been. A very simple request caused a huge inconvenience. The location is very good. The aesthetic is lacking. The house manger is good. I book a lot of homes in Cuba. I have a stellar reputation on Airbnb and in Cuba, generally. I need a responsive, honest host when I place my clients in accommodations. I did not get that here. This is not a home I will be using again.

The location of the apartment was prime as it was in the heart of Old Havana in the most picturesque area of Plaza Vieja. The biggest downfall of the place is that you have to climb up three FULL sets of stairs and with luggage, it is not an easy thing. We also had a baby/stroller so it was extremely inconvenient. I did not do my research properly before as I did not realize there wasn't an elevator. I will say the host was not accommodating in the fact that we had a baby but it was still our decision to stay there. The apartment itself is decorated interesting and has an alluring aesthetic vs. a lot of other ones on Airbnb with dated furniture; and I believe the price is largely based on these two aspects. The host herself lives in a different country so she doesn't really know much of what is going on in the apartment. The house manager, Yari, was great and made a wonderful breakfast every morning and was helpful.
