The village:
A hamlet of houses, mostly with thatched roofs. Very quiet location with swans and ducks to be seen on the village pond and waddling around the roads.
2 minute walk to the Wylye river and footpaths.
The Parish church dates back to 1252, but was rebuilt in 1624 retaining the original East and West Windows.

Bath:
Bath is a town set in the rolling countryside of southwest England, known for its natural hot springs and 18th-century Georgian architecture. Honey-coloured Bath stone has been used extensively in the town’s architecture, including at Bath Abbey, noted for its fan-vaulting, tower and large stained-glass windows. The museum at the site of the original Roman-era Baths includes The Great Bath, statues and a temple.
Longleat:

Longleat is an English stately home and the seat of the Marquesses of Bath. It is a leading and early example of the Elizabethan prodigy house. It is adjacent to the village of Horningsham and near the towns of Warminster and Westbury in Wiltshire and Frome in Somerset.
Safari Park: Drive-thru wild animal park, plus an Elizabethan house, theme park amusements and events such as Festival of Light and Balloon Festival.

We are approx 10/15 mins walking distance from the very well stocked local Budgens Store in Codford. (petrol station & postoffice)
A 10 minute walk along a public footpath. Through the fields to Boyton Village, where you will find the "Ginger Piggery" Ginny’s Cafe Open daily 10am-2pm for “Lush or Gert Lush English breakfast” Coffee and cakes & light lunches.
Artisan shops. Pottery, local artists and fitness.

We recommend you bring Wellington Boot in winter months and a torch if you go out exploring. We do have excellent outdoor lighting, but no street lights in village.
