We did not mind the ground floor room, it was nice to walk out the french doors onto the patio. It was quiet while we were there only met one other couple who were lovely. Breakfast was amazing. Great coffee. The gardens are beautiful as is the building. Great street for shopping. Only negative thing I can find to comment on is that the room has some mould, a common thing to fight in Mexico in old buildings on the concrete of the shower and near the air conditioner.

Our stay at Verde Morada was the perfect start to our trip to Villadolid. Conveniently located, with stylish interiors and a lush courtyard. The staff were wonderful - friendly and helpful. On top of the actual accommodations, the breakfast that was included was absolutely delicious. Would definitely stay here again and if you are looking for a chic getaway in the heart of the town - this is the perfect place.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. The staff were lovely and very attentive. They noticed there were a few mosquitos whilst we were having lunch in the gorgeous gardens and quickly brought out a fan & citronella candle & mosquito repellent. There were also lovely organic soaps & body lotions to use as well as complimentary drinks in the mini fridge. The breakfast is also included which is a nice touch. One thing for us personally that was a slight inconvenience was that the room backed on to the shared garden with glass doors, so we couldn’t always have the curtains open. The room is also a little small for 2 people sharing, although we were travelling for 3 weeks so had a large suitcase. There are also other rooms available that do not have this issue. The WiFi was also a bit problematic but Daniela & the staff were always at hand to help with any queries.

De camino a Mérida nos paramos a desayunar y pasar un rato en Valladolid, caminando por el pueblo descubrimos este hotel Verde Morada, nos encanto!! Nos acabamos quedando dos días ahí. Ubicada en Calzada de los Frailes, la calle más bonita de Valladolid, rodeada de restaurantes y tiendas lindas, una antigua casona colonial remodelada con un jardín encantador y una alberca fresca ideal para relajarse. La habitación muy cómoda (la de planta baja es la más bonita!!). El desayuno delicioso y la atención espectacular.

Daniela's space is unbelievable! The property has been renovated recently, and everything in the rooms is top notch. Besides, all the common areas like the backyard and balcony invite you to relax. The breakfast was unbelievable. The fruit and the local cuisine were full of taste, making my stay here a complete bargain. I also enjoyed the location. I believe it helps you enjoy more of the town, as there are bars, restaurants and a park nearby. Everything's within walking distance when you stay at this hotel!
