In an idyllic location , the cottage was perfectly situated overlooking the lake. It was a perfect size for four adults and was very comfortable and well equipped . All sinks had full soap dispensers and the cleaning cloths in the kitchen were new ( something not always provided by hosts). Even though we had neighbours both sides we heard nothing through the walls although our upstairs floorboards were rather noisy ! Having said that this wouldn’t put us off staying again . We look forward to returning soon .

A tranquil location overlooking a small lake, in a great location for the White Peak. Good parking facilities and the property was warm, comfortable and provided essential facilities. A small 'welcome bag' is provided (sachets of coffee, small UHT milk cartons, tea bags, biscuits). I would recommend you contact the host regarding key collection as the reception closes at 5pm and a code is requried to access the key safe outside the property.

Great place, everything you need for your stay is there and parking is easy, the accommodation is very clean and comfortable and quite. Working in Matlock again very soon and would love to stay again but not many dates available. Little gem.

Lovely clean cottage, nicely decorated, in a rural location. Very peaceful apart from the creaky floorboards. Wifi was fine. Would use again if we were in the area.
