I happened to stumble upon Norman’s place after driving several hours for a work event and needing a place to crash for the night. Norman was extremely responsive. Check in was very easy. I was traveling by myself and felt safe in the house & going back and forth to/from my car. Place was beautiful, clean and felt like home. The backyard is adorable with the lights not being too bright, lol. Perfect to unwind. I’m definitely saving this place for next time I’m in the area and can enjoy it longer. Highly recommend!

Norman and Michelle were amazing hosts! Very responsive and gave clear instructions. The vibrantly painted and iconic shotgun style home was tastefully renovated and had everything we needed. It was a prime location close to cute coffee shops, restaraunts, and fun local dive bars all within walking distance and away from touristy areas.

Great place, Norman immediately responsive to some minor questions. My partner loved the don Quixote painting so much I was afraid she might try and steal it haha...a bit of noise that seems to carry thru floorboards from neighbors but not a big deal since we weren't there that much..

Not a bad place location wise but it is a little sketchy area. Our first night someone was being arrested outside the front door on the sidewalk Walking distance to convenient store, bars, restaurants but had to get a ride most everywhere The floor of the house was sticky and has like a film of glitter in the kitchen/living room The water pressure in the shower is not great. Toilet lid was loose in the guest bathroom Not a bad back patio but half the light bulbs didn’t work on the lights The listing did say bunk beds and a sleeper sofa but the mattresses were not very comfortable and there is not really a way to use the sleeper sofa. Not really a good size for a normal size adult. Another option would be the pull out couch but it is broken We checked in around 315 and there was a very strong bleach smell that we had to open the doors to air out. There were sheets running in the washer It was ok value for the house but could have probably gotten a hotel closer to everything
