What a beautiful retreat! Your place is so warm and inviting and so many interesting artifacts from your travels all over the world! The bed was very comfortable and one of us really appreciated the bath tub! We were able to do a great hike down to the water as well as up to Gazzam Lake Nature Preserve. We also spent time at Pointe White Pier, Pleasant Beach and Lytle Beach as well as exploring Fort Ward. Your location on south end of island lends itself to so much to do! Appreciated the "small footprint" philosophy, and especially the composting bin! Felt like we were at home. Also appreciated the helpful hints about which address to use. We were on island for a friend's retirement dinner and the little village of Lynwood is sweet. Great restaurants & wine bar! We would definitely come back! Thank you Liesl & Peter!

My son and I had a wonderful time at Liesl's place. It was beautiful, we played some games they had there, and we walked down the trail to the nearby beach. It got a little stuffy and warm at night even with the ceiling fan, but I opened the windows and 2nd floor doors a bit and then it was perfect. Liesl was helpful and responded to my messages quickly, and we really enjoyed our stay. We'd definitely like to go back!
