Kaleen's place is well equipped in the kitchen. Loads of spices, tea, filtered water. Plenty of dishes, pots, pans and kettle. I didn't realize when I rented her place it was a basement apartment where the window faced in a small shared backyard with no sun. If you like I, need to see the sun, I would reconsider staying here. But if not, her place is on a quiet street within walking distance to many great places. Alamo park was a favourite place to sit and have a coffee, which is close by.

This is a very comfortable small apartment in a great part of SF, and Kaleen is a very responsive host. It so well-appointed with everything you need, and the kitchen has high-quality cookware, dishes, and spices. Bathroom and bedroom are large. Generally it is very quiet though as apartment living you can hear footsteps from unit above. This is on the bottom or basement floor of the building and it exits to a small back courtyard between the house behind, so natural light is limited. There is no desk or workspace but I was fine with the small dining table and stools. Short walk to Alamo Square or the bustling part of Hayes Valley - I really enjoyed it!

This is my second time spending an extended stay (1 month) at this apartment, and therefore my second review. It continues to meet my needs and is in a good location for a good price. I continue to recommend this apartment to colleagues and to anyone. Thank you for a lovely stay, Kaleen!
