What a fabulous 4 nights we spent at The Dairy. Beautiful peaceful location. Spotlessly clean and even bigger and better than in the photos! It really was a home from home with everything we could need for a self catering break and a perfect base for exploring the Wye Valley and surrounding areas. Eileen gave us a friendly welcome on arrival and the information folders were useful too. I wouldn't hesitate to book again when returning to the Wye Valley. Thank you!

The cottage was clean, comfortable and warm with a very well equipped kitchen. It's situated in a beautiful location and Eileen is very kind and welcoming.

Lovely cottage with everything you could need for a very comfortable stay. In a perfect location within short distance of many attractions to visit suitable for children and adults and Forest of Dean on the doorstep. Lucky to have some warm sunny weather and visited Bathurst open air pool in nearby Lydney..a lovely family friendly pool where you can take a picnic which we struggled to tear the kids, 11 and 7, away from! There is a pub in Newland within walking distance along the burial trail...torch needed if going to be out after dusk( avaiable in cottage) and kids found this great fun. For an alternative we went to the Dog and Muffler Inn...tucked away with lovely garden view and great food just a short drive away. We all had a lovely time. Thank you Eileen for being such a friendly, helpful host!

We had a fantastic stay at The Dairy. Eileen is an outstanding host and has thought of every detail to make a stay enjoyable. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was so well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The location is excellent in a rural setting but with Coleford a 5 minute drive away and Monmouth 10 minutes away. I would highly recommend a stay at The Dairy.

This is a really well prepared and homely place to stay. It is beautifully clean and really well equipped with everything you need for a stay here. Eileen was very welcoming. We were the first people to stay here after months of closure for lockdown. The COVID awareness and preparation of the cottage were fantastic - we had booked the Dairy just before our 2nd lockdown and had been looking forward to our visit. 😃 Finding the location was easy and parking for the cottage was by the front door. During our weeks visit we found plenty to do, with attractions open nearby and shops about a mile away in Coleford. Plenty of footpaths and views across the countryside. There is a lovely patio area with seating and a barbecue available at the rear. We had a very pleasant and comfortable stay here …and the weather was great too. Many thanks Eileen, for your work in preparing for our stay and making this available for us.
