A short stroll through the forest leads to Symonds Yat known as one of the finest viewpoints in southern England which perches over the River Wye below. This area is very popular for cycling, walking, caving, climbing and canoeing in addition to multiple tourist attractions for all ages. The forest is a haven for wildlife and birds with regular sightings of fallow deer, muntjac deer and wild boar with peregrine falcons and goshawks nesting on the cliffs at Symonds Yat. Maple Lodge offers an open plan contemporary styled kitchen/living/sleeping area and bathroom with bath, separate shower cubicle and heated towel rail, all on the ground floor with no steps. The kitchen is well equipped with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and pans, crockery, and cutlery. There is a 32” Freeview TV in the living area.
