Absolutely stunning views from the huge balcony make this a very special place to stay. The host was really lovely and let us know we could check in earlier and out later. Very nice welcome pack of treats too! A fab stay in the gorgeous autumnal lake district.

Positives: The location and the view are stunning!! The property itself is beautiful, especially the master bedroom and the house was clean. They also provided coffee, tea bags, milk and jam that was locally made in Lake District, which was nice. Negatives: The hot water was limited so after 2 (out of 5) people had their shower (with hot water) it stopped and were told to wait 15-20 mins. As we were in Lake District, we obviously had plans and had to head out on time so half the people couldn't take a shower. In addition to this, only one out of 2 bathrooms had hot water. They said they'll fix it but because it was a Sunday when we reported this, it was hard for them to find a plumber (understandable). But hopefully this problem is resolved very soon.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was great and the location and views simply stunning. We could’ve spent days sitting on the balcony looking at the view! It was a great spot to explore the lakes from, we’d love to return.

Much bigger than we expected, the property is split over two floors and is fantastically spacious for 4 or 5 people. There is a wonderfully sized bath as well that was wholeheartedly taken advantage of. Gorgeous part of the world, fantastic welcoming hamper - an all round wonderful stay.

Brilliant place to stay, with beautiful views of Ullswater. The welcome box was very generous and full of delicious local produce, including wine. The beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
