I felt right at home in this quirky old sea captains home full of paintings and other art. November in the Harpswells seems very quiet and peaceful. The house is charming but a little drafty in November but is to be expected given the season! I would be delighted to stay here next time I’m visiting in the area!

If you’re looking to get away and have a peaceful vacation this is the place for you! Stephen gave us a warm welcome and treated us to a tour of the house and it’s wonderful history. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived, the place is clean and overall just lovely. Stephen is an amazing host who takes the time to get to know his guests and collect their stories to add to his wonderful home. We honestly can’t wait to return!

Saying with Steve is like a vacation from the past, old Maine! My 2 weeks were the most restful ever. Location on Orr's Island is beautiful. Views outstanding. Steve is filled with stories of local lore and legend and it makes for a delightful stay. HIs social activism is evident everywhere, some may not agree, however the truth is never hidden under the so called blanket. Highly recommended! JOHN
