Der Aufenthalt bei Stephen war etwas Besonderes, wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und aufgenommen und haben drei wunderbare Tage, bei schönstem Wetter, in der Umgebung und im Haus verbracht. Das abendliche Lagerfeuer war wunderbar;) Das Haus beherbergt viel persönliche Kunst, die es lohnt zu entdecken! Herzlichen Dank an Stephen und seine Familie, Uta und Anand

Stephen has a way of making you right at home. I was looking for a place to get away from the city and work, and Orr's Island definitely calmed me down. The islands have plenty of trails and beautiful views, and it is 1 hour from Portland and 30 mins to Brunswick, so you will have a lot to do. I especially enjoyed chilling at night, around the fire pit, and looking at the sky, sharing stories with Stephen, Riggs, and other guests. Wonderful experience I would recommend 100%

Stephen’s place is like spending the night at Boston’s Gardner museum - packed with interesting art and history. Stephen is a warm host with a deep knowledge of local yore and a great passion for art, social justice, and Maine living.

Steve is a top notch host. He has a lot of great stories and is has plenty of info about things to see and do in the area. Also, if you provide the lobsters, Steve will take care of everything else to provide you with an authentic Maine dinner.

We had a great time at Stephen's! We enjoyed chatting with him and exploring the art and history in his home, and had a lovely and peaceful time around Harpswell. Glad to make this choice for our Maine trip and would stay again :)
