My son had a deer tag in the unit surrounding Portal and this was the first year in MANY years that we decided to look for an Airbnb instead of staying at the local hotel we usually stay in. This place did NOT disappoint! Having a full kitchen with all the amenities required to cook basic full meals was a huge plus for us! All the extra beds made for some fun memories at night watching movies. It's out in the middle of nowhere it seems but for us, that's what appeals us to the area in general, it's perfect. Gas is about 15 minutes away and there is a local restaurant/grill/grocery about 5 minutes away. Service is limited but the wifi was perfect. Contacting Sheri was SO easy too! We extended our stay 2 times through the airbnb app and she was quick to respond and accommodate every time! Whether you're look-louing or hunting, this is a great place to stay and we will be back!

We had a group of 13 people at the lodge. Everyone was very pleased with the accommodations and ease of communicating with our host Sheri. The lodge is by far the best deal in the area for a family or large group of visitors. We will definitely be back soon. Steve Bledsoe Southwestern Field Herping Association

The Airbnb was amazing! It was clean and had everything I needed. The view of the mountains was breath taking. I would recommend it anyone that wants a secluded relaxing getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

THis was an odd layout for an Airbnb. There was one large dorm style room with 5 beds, a TV, and some couches. Then there was a tiny bedroom barely big enough for a double bed. THe 2 baths and the kitchen were fine. All of this was upstairs. The layout made it impossible for 2 people to do different things, since everything was in the same room.

Wonderful place to stay my best friend also rents this place for some of the sheep hunts. The renters next door are not very quite. If there is to be one thing it was the people next door.
