Lovely place. Small but cute and cosy with everything you may need: from kitchenware to board games and toys for kids. The indoor swimming pool adds that extra holiday feeling even when the weather is rubbish 😁. We really enjoyed our stay.

Hollyhocks is a lovely apartment which is part of a small complex based around a former manor house. The open plan design makes the most of the space, it is very nicely decorated and furnished and exceptionally well equipped. The hosts provided some lovely extra touches which were very welcome. We really enjoyed the amenities too (pool, tennis court, table tennis etc). The hosts were flexible with check-in time too which was a real bonus. Only tiny criticism would be the our teenager was looking forward to the PS3 and we couldn’t find it. That aside, it is a lovely place and very well run.

This is a lovely place, the house is very well equipped, and had everything we needed, my wife joked that if she were so inclined she could have done some baking. The facilities on the Colmer estate are wonderful, we loved the indoor pool particularly, I think we used it every day with our infant daughter.

A real treat to stay in gorgeous accommodation in such delightful grounds. The use of an indoor & outdoor pool was a bonus. Our host spoilt us with a hamper & a very comfortable & well dressed apartment. We nearly missed staying at Helen’s as we had booked another but when we realised the beds were too small for 4 adults we cancelled. So glad we did.
