I stayed here for two nights in April 2024. I feel it's only fair to point out that some of the other reviews have mentioned things directly out of control of the host. Such as the site being muddy (sites get muddy when it rains) lack of dog walking paths (the entire site has several paths running through it) or indeed the bird / goose / duck poop (there's a lake in the site and feathered friends aren't toilet trained). I had absolutely no issues with the interior of the caravan at all. It was clean, tidy and everything worked as it should. Yes, the caravan is dated to a degree but you would know that from the pictures. The one thing I do have to take issue with is the non-functional lock on the decking gate. This did become an issue as my son was able to push the gate open and we almost lost our dog and son - we needed to get help to find them. Please do fix this as it's a genuine safety concern and a lot of stress could have been avoided if the gate was in working order.

other reviews stare this is a dated caravan and it is. But the location is amazing, checking in is easy and it's cosy. So much to do a shirt walk away from the caravan, we filled everyday with ease and had a great time. Need to pack essentials such as toilet rolls as none were provided, but the price was great for the stay we had. Would definitely recommend to anyone

Below is a list of issues found during Black mould, kitchen sink leaks, 2 windows don't close fully, no gas on Wednesday night, drainage system backed up, left with no electricity Thursday night, every window wet through including curtains / net curtains / blinds, temperature drops drastically as soon as no heating on, double pull out sofa bed absolutely disgusting and not fit to sleep on, electric oil radiators unsafe due to blowing the electrics. No mop / bucket to wipe floors over when it's dog friendly and site is a muddy mess, lack of essentials, all pots/cutlery/pans filthy. Dog mess and geese mess everywhere, bogging wet and muddy most of grassed areas were flooded, rude receptionist, no lighting so very dark, noisy family at the back that looked like they was living on site, dogs allowed but no designated walking area to walk them, no dog poo bins, onsite toilets / showers close at 6pm and unsure of opening time, launderette onsite only allowes tourers to use not static stays.
