Absolutely lovely property. My granddaughter had a great time canoeing around the pond and fishing. We utilized the hot tub while stargazing as well as the fire pit to roast marshmallows. The Derby general store across the street from the Ohio River had everything we needed from snacks to worms for fishing. The people who worked there were so kind and friendly. I would definitely stay there again and explore the many hiking trails as Hoosier State Park is nearby.

Cabin is nice getaway spot with little to no traffic. Very quiet and peaceful. You can’t get signal here which is a good or bad thing however you wanna look at it. Cabin needs a some updates like the beds but overall had a great time here.

The cabin is a great get away if you are looking for peace and quiet. The trails around the property were great for walking our dogs. The hiking nearby was plentiful as well. If you are looking for other things to do we drove into Santa Claus, IN and French Lick, IN as well.

We stayed for 3 nights, and it was relaxing being alone out in the woods. The hot tub was great and very clean. The beds could be updated as they are old but not as uncomfortable as others have said. Everything was very clean, and Vince provides everything you need if you want to cook. Our only issue was that the bathroom was very small. I had to leave the door open because it made me feel claustrophobic. I'm 5'6" and the shower head was maybe 1/2" from the top of my head, which made showering difficult for my 6'3" husband. We probably won't stay again but we would recommend it to others.
