Lindsey was a great communicator throughout. I came across this Cottage while looking for a private place to stay that was dog friendly. One picture in particular shows a table set on some patio and the following picture shows the ‘property views’. The ‘outdoor amenities’ states - private patio, garden. However the rear patio leaves much to be desired. There is no view, the table and chair set needed some love. I felt quite misled by the pictures and description provided. The inside however was as shown in the pictures. Homely and very peaceful. However it did come with a few issues. The kettle and microwave had not been cleaned. (Limescale and food splatters). The bathroom had mould around the skylight. A towel provided was stained before use. And the radiator in master bedroom was leaking and leaving a horrible brown stain on the carpet. I have since been refunded the cleaning fee. Surrounding area was lovely. I would highly recommend the ‘The Grapes Inn’. Great food!

This was my first (of what I hope to be many!) return visits. Consistent with the review I left after my first stay, the cottage is wonderfully clean, in a peaceful location and has a fully equipped kitchen suitable for both short and extended stays. Looking forward to booking again!

Secret View was a lovely cute but comfortable home for our short stay in Terrington. The amenities and location were perfect and close to everything we wanted to do while there. Lindsey was a great communicator throughout.

Fantastic little cottage, well equiped kitchen, nice and snug, home from home, it was our 2nd stay here and it didn't dissapoint. would gladly stay again, great location to explore York and surrounding area.
