Great place, nice setting, 5 minutes drive to St-Andrews. The beach (not sand though, more like small pebbles) is 100 feet away. Very clean, kitchen well equipped for basic cooking, beds are comfortable, but there are no heavy curtains in the master bedroom so you'll see sunlight early in the morning. Highly recommed it, would go there again for sure!

Beautiful apartment with a stunning view of the bay. Very private & serene location. Comfortable accommodations. Easy access to St. Andrews downtown and outdoor recreation in the area.

We were delighted with the location and accommodations for our stay in Bayside. Diane & Vic were great hosts—very responsive by not intrusive. We loved the Artistview Loft with the balcony overlooking the grounds toward the beach. We enjoyed walking the rocky beach at low tide, gathering driftwood to make s’mores at the fire pit. The proximity to St. Andrews made it easy to have delicious seafood several times during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with pots/pans, dishes and utensils. However, it would have been great to have had access to a grill to enjoy a meal on the patio. The queen size bed was very comfortable with quality bedding and towels provided (along with plenty of hot water!). The second bedroom has 2 twin beds and this would be a great place for a family retreat. We highly recommend this spot for a quiet get-away as a couple or as a family.

I left these issues in response to their request for a review: - insufficient toilet tissues = screen door does not operate properly =strong lobster odor in refrigerator =no garbage bins outside unit as indicated; therefore garbage was bagged and left in unit =no beach towels provided as per listing =sheer curtains only in Master bedroom; no blinds These may be minor issues but one would not anticipate these issues based on the price.
