Bruno's much more than a Bed and Breakfast. He keeps hens, a friendly dog, beautiful mature and varied trees which shelter the large quiet garden, butterflies and insects (!), scented meadows, lot of blackberries, howls and garden birds, milky way, glow-worms and night crickets chirping. The house uses minimal energy, it is well insulated and runs on solar panels. Almost everything is recycled. We were on 'foot' to visit this rural and friendly part of Dordogne. Bruno's contacts at VELOLIM, to hire comfortable electric bicycles , enabled us to broaden our horizons - without too much of an effort! Our host shared his local Cafe with us, the farm of La Tournerie, where a collective of 11 young farmers offers a wide range of produce, including fruit and vegetables, meat, dairy, bread, and other delicious home made products including beers. We heard about the current issues of French 'Terroir' , a complement to our trips to touristic spots. Bruno is a natural host and we'll be back!

Bruno propose des chambres confortables et très lumineuses dans sa maison de caractère, chambre et salle d'eau nickel propre ! Une bonne adresse au calme pas loin de St Yrieix.

Un accueil chaleureux et vraiment un séjour au top !

Bruno assure un accueil chaleureux et convivial. De riches discussions possibles notamment sur son beau projet de transition écologique. De belles randos à faire dans un rayon de 15 à 30 minutes (coussac, courbefy, riviere de l Isle et Gorges de l auvezere...). le tout avec un petit petit-déjeuner gargantuesque. Une adresse que je vous recommande et oû nous reviendrons :)

We had the most relaxing holiday at Bruno's. If we had known before, we would have planned to stay more than three nights. If you want to get away from city noise and tourists, this area of France is the perfect escapade. And the food is amazing - we ate the best meat here.
