Had a great week with our friends at the cottage. Weather was fabulous, cottage had all we needed and comfortable. Great location. Wish we had used the local shops at Pityme a bit more as they have all you really need instead of going to the supermarkets. Beaches were fantastic. Polzeath is a must for surfers and bodyboarders. Padstow has lots of lovely wee shops to browse round. The boys went fishing off the rocks at the Rumps and a 2hr fishing trip from Padstow. We took a bodyboarding session at Newquay which was great, kids loved every minute. Last year we went to John O'Groats so we had to visit Lands End this year! Would definitely recommend and would come back to Cornwall, possibly for a bit longer next time.

The cottage is cosy with the best gsrden ever. It is large , private and has the most amazing views. I loved reading my book in the morning with a coffee waiting for the family to surface. The beaches are nearby and you can either drive or walk across the fields following the footpath. I would highly recommend staying in the cottage. Alistair communicated throughout our stay - nothing was too much trouble .

Alistair is a really thoughtful and helpful host with buckets of recommendations, quick responses when needed and lots of useful information. His place is wonderful, with comfy beds and a really big garden.
