A great place to disconnect and relax! The perfect mix of off-grid living with a few basic luxuries to make your stay more comfortable. The outdoor shower with hot water was amazing! The cabin came fully stocked with all the basics and the detailed listing of everything that was included made packing much easier. Everything was exactly as advertised in the pictures & description. Detailed instructions are provided which makes adjusting to off-grid living a breeze. David was quick to respond to any questions and a pleasure to talk too. We hope to be able to stay at the Ahki House again soon!

We had such a great stay at Akhi house! David has created such a thoughtfully warm and well designed space that has everything you could need. We felt so at home and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend.

A rustic experience that could be elevated with a few creature comforts and design tweaks. Overall, the cabin is adorable and the view across the meadow is truly lovely.

Thank you for this fairytale off grid peaceful getaway! From the small touches of books on local animals & trees it was lovely to just soak it all in. Beautiful ambiance with the wood fireplace and twinkly lights. The outdoor shower was the perfect end to the long day of kayaking Lake Manitouwabing! The Deer flies are vicious so we managed one outdoor fire before it became too much but still enjoyable. The boat launch is too far to portage the canoe unfortunately (and we would have loved to try it out) thankfully we walked it first to see how long it took which was about 20ish minutes but we had our inflatable kayak with us and used that instead which was still great! Overall an amazing trip and it is the perfect space to leave the city behind and reconnect. Very special memories! Sincerely, Mel & Ray
