My husband and I wanted a place away from people for our honeymoon, and boy did we find the place! We brought our dog and he was right at home, even made friends with the neighbors dog! Everyone we met in Essex was so nice and walking around in the morning with coffee was so refreshing. There was a power outage our first morning, but it came back on towards mid day. Didn’t mind much, just went and explored West Glacier. Kitchen has everything needed to cook all your meals. The bed was so comfortable that my husband wants it for our own room! The trains came often but were so quiet that sometimes you didn’t even know they were passing by! Loved the place so much that we hope to stay again during the summer season to enjoy Glacier even more!

We spent 10 nights at the tiny home. We found it to be everything we needed! Well-stocked kitchen, super comfortable bed, accommodating and friendly hosts, clean and adequate bathroom, and of course location was ideal right between East and West Glacier! There is a train line that runs fairly frequently right behind the house, but we truly didn't notice it. Located on a quiet street with families and dogs, a few of which came right up to introduce themselves! We had a wonderful trip, and this great location only added to our enjoyment! We would stay with Susan and Zach again anytime! -Sean and Steph

We are newcomers to Airbnb, so we were confused about getting the entry number, but it all worked out and we got in no problem. It's a very cute house that was once probably used by railroad workers in the area. Although the train went through the area, it proceeded slowly and was not a distraction or inconvenience - we actually enjoyed seeing and hearing the train. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Susan allowed us to bring our dog, and Minnie loved playing with the neighboring dogs. The neighbors were very friendly and helpful; a lovely situation. The close proximity to Glacier National Park made trips there easy. It was overall a great experience.

Great midpoint between west and east glacier entrances. Found the road to and from the entrances to be just as beautiful as going-to-the-sun minus all the traffic. Would stay again.

Susan’s home was very comfortable and felt like home. Her clear and precise instructions and directions made for a fantastic stay.
