Hello, I am your Superhost Eustace Conway. You may already know me as the celebrity movie star representing the North Carolina mountains in the History Channel's TV series Mountain Men. This month, we are preparing to film our 11th year of showing the ingenious lifestyle of this backwoods mountain living. I lived off the grid, far from modern ways for over 40 years, living off the land in a viable old time mountain tradition. Because I wanted to share with others the rich heritage of a more capable, meaningful and enriching life, I manifested a childhood dream of founding and directing an outdoor education center, Turtle Island Preserve. After volunteering full time, 24/7, 18 hours a day at Turtle Island Preserve for 32 years, and gaining some money from starring on TV, I decided to take a "break" and use my creative talents to decorate houses and create a series of extremely special and unique mountain retreat venues. My homes are for visitors to our mountains to use as base camps to explore the beauty and heritage surrounding us here. Because we have much higher standards than most rentals, we became an instant success, achieving the 5 star Superhost status as rapidly as it can be achieved. I purposefully hid my movie star status for over a year from our opening, just to prove that the unique, comfortable qualities of the homes themselves could succeed on their own without the celebrity status of my associated branding. Now that the beauty and design of the houses have proved themselves to be a raging success on their own, I am coming "out of the closet" as the orchestrator behind the scenes. I have personally and carefully selected every tree and rock and painting and furniture myself and handcrafted with my own skill set the eclectic arrangements. When you visit one of my signature houses, you immerse yourself into the set of the intimate interior of sculptural achievement, for each unique individual house in our series is crafted as a massive three dimensional sculptural art creation in the truest baseline sense of what art is, and how art can move you. These are experiential walk-in sculptures to move the senses and touch the soul. I hope you will book one of my rentals today and stay here in this special house in these special mountains, to retreat and rejuvenate, rest and explore. I believe you deserve it! I have attempted to lay out the house so you will be more inspired with life possibilities when you leave than when you arrived. Fresh flowers, fruit and baked goods welcome you upon your arrival, and everywhere your eyes land in the houses, you are fed with an interesting invitation to go beyond the norm and indeed the cookie-cutter mundane, and see, feel, hear the exceptional, recognize the possibilities and wake the creativeness within yourself. Visitors to these creative walk-in pieces have told me "you are so outside the box with these genius masterpieces!" and I replied, "Thank you, but respectfully sir, I was never in the box."
