Lisa’s cabin was a great getaway. My mom and I were in Boone for a family wedding, and we shared the space for 2 nights. It was perfect for us. The space was very clean and cozy, and the beds were super comfortable. I particularly enjoyed the back porch/deck area where I spent a lot of time relaxing and drinking coffee to the sound of the nearby creek. Lisa was a terrific host. She was very responsive and proactive; she even called to let me know that a light in the laundry room had gone out prior to our arrival (total non-issue). As a previous guest stated, the wifi can be a little fussy at times; but hey, you’re in a cabin in the mountains. It kind of comes with the territory. I would gladly stay again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing stay.

Very nice space for two couples or a small family. Close to everything in Boone. Very nicely furnished. Fully stocked kitchen (with Keurig and a regular drip machine which was nice.) The Internet is Starlink so if it's cloudy it can be temperamental but other than that it's a perfect place to stay to be in Boone proper.
We had an absolutely amazing time at the Mossy Creek cabin! My husband and I and our best friends visited Boone to celebrate his birthday. The cabin was in a perfect location- close to everything we wanted to do and eat. Both bedrooms have a private bath, so it was perfect for two couples. The beds were extremely comfortable and the entire cabin was styled perfectly! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening listening to the river and staying warm with the heater above us. It was a perfect weekend!
I cannot recommend this cabin enough! It was the perfect weekend get away. Beautiful location but still close to everything in town. Plenty of space for relaxing. The kitchen was great and had everything you need. Updated bathrooms. The decor and layout was perfect. We instantly felt at home walking in the door. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck with coffee in the morning. Great places to eat and shop in town. The people in town were so nice and helpful. It rained so no hiking but we will come back another time for that. Lisa was awesome to communicate with. We ended up staying an extra day and she was so nice to help us getting that set up. Very easy check-in and out. A must stay spot when you visit Boone!

This quiet little neighborhood is nestled in the woods on the side of a mountain, with sounds of a gushing river below, is free from outside traffic and has recently been paved in 2022. During the winter months, there is plowing and professional salting, to mitigate the snow/ice build-up on the roads.
When you pull up, there are 2 paved parking spaces for this cabin, but there are also paces for 2-3 additional cars, that can parallel park just off the road onto the gravel in front of the cabin.
