What a find! After a busy few days at the start of our holiday we wanted somewhere we could relax, and Douglas's place offered this in spades. Beautiful views and private with enough to keep us balanced between relaxing and busy (hot tub, lawn chess, putting, football goals, ping-pong...) and loved that it was pet-friendly. It was spotless, and close enough to Callander's amenities for the essentials. Loads to do nearby, but we just enjoyed the peace and surroundings.

Just arrived home today. Booked last minute trip for young daughter’s birthday before she goes back to school. Had a fabulous time, was beautiful surroundings & so peaceful, just what we needed before busy lives restart. Will definitely be back, thanks to Douglas for accommodating us.

Second time that we have stayed here. Lovely stay again, had everything we needed and had no issues. Baby cot provided as requested. A really peaceful place to stay, loved sitting in the hot tub with a view of the hills and sheep. Would recommend.

Fantastic place. The hosts really have gone to a lot of effort to create an perfect getaway. The facilities were great. Only negative was it was a bit of a hairy walk into the town on the main road but that is no one’s fault and thankfully close enough to get a taxi in and out so not an issue but just worth noting. I would highly recommend it anyone wanting a lovely Scottish retreat. 🙌🙌
