The Nautical Room is the original wing on the 1860's Gothic Revival farmhouse which has a view of rose garden with a private entrance separated from the main house. This room has a queen bed with pillow top mattress, 2 night stands, dresser, microwave , Kitchen sink, mini-fridge with separate freezer, small toaster and coffee maker, bathroom (with 5' spa tub and 2 shower heads) 36” vanity and towel storage, table and 2 chairs, and cozy arm chair and smart TV. Extra blanket in TV cabinet. Enjoy the use of our lawn and gardens. Walk over to the community water front just across the street from the house and enjoy the sunset. Community area closes at dusk. Rocky point park has swimming and boat launch and golf course in Essex(5 miles from the house). Bring your own beach towels . House rules Non-smokers only which includes pot smoking. If you smoke, we will cancel your reservation and you will not receive an refund. Threating, rude, discourteous behavior will NOT be tolerated. Your reservation will be canceled without refund. We reserve the right to enter your room at any time for any emergency, repair, cleaning or rule violations. No Daily Housekeeping Provided. Wipe counters, appliances, cleanup spills and sweep room daily. Use foil on toaster oven tray. Cover food in microwave. Take out trash. For long term stays we will clean bathroom and change towels and bedding once a week. Cleaning supplies under the sink. Linens, towels, bedding or throws are not to be taken outside the room and used at the beach or park. Smoking and vaping of any type and any illegal substance is NOT allowed in the room or anywhere on the property or you will be charged $250. Early check in may be available for $45 if you make advance arrangements before check in day. Only guests with reservations are allow (no other visitors). If you did not register for 2 guest, change your reservation to 2 people. Community area closes at dusk. Do not enter waterfront after this time. Do not turn the air-conditioning below 70 degrees or the heat above 75 degrees. Quiet Hours - 10 PM - 7 AM. After 10pm do not keep going in and out of the room. If you come in late at night or out early in the morning, please be mindful of others and come in or out quietly. Do not leave bagged trash in room. Trash goes in can between a/c units and needs to be there by Wednesday. Recycling goes in can by back door and needs to be there by Sunday.
