First I like the Key Biscayne a lot and have been there a few times. First time at key colony complex which I thought was a nice spot. everything is well oiled and turn key However, the unit is well worn, and you can tell it’s rented a lot. The maintenance isn’t great (leaky shower, random construction debris on the patio, cover for electrical outlet missing, heavily used furniture,etc). Further, the pool across our unit was shut down for maintenance all week, and the unit is right by the entrance of the key colony complex so it’s loud. Further, the beach and main pool is approx 15-20 min walk. Lastly, the unit advertised a crib/pack and play but it took over 24 hours after our arrival until one was actually provided. All and all I had fun, and the unit was spacious, but was disappointed overall, but for the price is what it is. Just set your expectations accordingly.

We were a party of two couples. We all really loved our stay. The bedrooms are extremely quiet. Our friends had an early flight out and we never heard them. The beach is less than 10 minute walk…just at the opposite end of the property. We rented a car and barely used it. One day we rented a golf cart to go to the state park and that was super fun. Mosquitoes can be an issue. But I loved sitting on the patio…just take light pants and long sleeve shirt. Would love to go again.

We loved our stay at Sheryl’s home. The location is amazing, with multiple pools and beach access in the complex. We would stay again!
