We had a wonderful stay in Butlers Cottage! The cottage itself is spotless and beautifully decorated throughout- we especially enjoyed the wood fired hot tub! The garden was perfect for our dog as it's completely enclosed. A special mention to Ross who made us feel super welcome, helped us out with an early check in and was a great help. We'll definitely be back next year.

The most beautiful cottage in a stunning location, would highly recommend. The cottage is beautifully decorated and in a peaceful location. It has everything you need and great for dogs with a private garden and the walks at the estate and quiet and picturesque. Ross was a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a wonderful holiday!!

Greeted with a warm welcome by the host and a brief of the location and the cottage. Very well maintained home with a private garden. Beautiful estate for walks and other other activities if you want a quiet couple’s getaway for a long weekend.

The perfect retreat. We booked the Cottage for my partner's birthday and from the minute we arrived we felt very welcome. The hamper which was given to us had a lovely personal touch too. The cottage inside is of such a high standard, but never did we feel afraid to get comfy and make use of all the facilities provided. We loved the hot tub and pizza oven which are great extras too. The grounds are beautiful and there are some lovely walks from the Cottage doorstep. We've already spoken about returning and trying out another property at Mayen.

We had an amazing time at the cottage. It was beautiful and Ross, Alan and Rebecca were particularly lovely. It’s decorated so well, so cosy. Loved that the fires and chimney were lit when we arrived. Definitely recommend Mayen Estate.
