The cottage was perfect for our post-Christmas visit with family that lives in town. The property has a gorgeous view and lots to explore. Our dog loved having plenty of land to explore and my boyfriend enjoyed running on the many trails. We can’t wait to visit again!

Meryl's place was in a beautiful, secluded location. We would definitely come back to stay here again. Meryl greeted us with her dog when we pulled up and gave us a quick run down. There were large art sculptures, trails, and a beautiful view of the sunset as well. The space itself was clean and had exactly what we needed and the perfect amount of space for 2 people and our little pup for a weekend away in nature. It was also a great location to hike Lake Willoughby.

We had a very nice time in Meryl’s home. It was very peaceful and quiet place. Kitchen stuff was a little bit dirty and dusty and dishes needs to be washed before using. Also the hot water tank was small and sometimes the water became very cold after few minutes. It is good mention that the cottage that we stayed had a mini refrigerator but i. The listing amenities they listed refrigerator as amenities. Also the kitchen doesn’t have stove. Most of the Airbnb places put coffee and tea at least. But it would be nice if they put some tea and coffee as a welcoming sign. Overall the place was good but the cottage can be improved.

We had another great stay at Meryl's - our second time back in two months. Perfect spot for what we like to do in the area. We enjoyed the fire pit this time as well as the new pieces of art on their property. Beautiful views abound.
