Unfortunately,our stay at Gardeners cottage didn’t live up to our expectations.The cottage is situated in a great location it has great potential,but the cottage is in need of some TLC as it is very tired.We visited at the end of May,and although it was spring,the weather was cold and wet.The hot water worked but heating did not.our host sent a plumber who visited three times to fix a broken pump,but it still didn’t work, we used the log burner.The cottage didn’t feel it had been cleaned properly,the host offered to send her cleaner again,but we felt it would be easier to do ourselves.Both hoover and mop broken.a new mop arrived, other items broken damaged or required replacing,our host told us she was on holiday and as we didn’t wish to bother her further we contacted airbnb, who accepted our request for a partial refund (£50 supplied by host).Airbnb very helpful and communicated well. We visit Norfolk each year and will continue to do so,but will not stay at this cottage again

We had a lovely few days stay at Ellie’s place. The property was as described and was near to the local beaches and towns that we wanted to head to.

This is a quaint creaky old cottage. Located in a very quiet and pretty village about a 5 minute drive from Mundesley. Parking is tight, as stated in the listing, but not too much of a problem. The beds are like the 3 bears, one hard, one soft, one just right 😁. It is cosy warm ( May time), plentiful hot water. The only downsides that really affected us was that we couldn’t seat all six guests at the table or outside patio. The kitchen utensils could have had a bit more attention during cleaning, a lack of salt and pepper etc, the lounge had stains on it, otherwise a pretty clean place. We enjoyed our weekend away. Thanks for having us stay in your lovely cottage.

We had a fantastic 3 nights staying at Ellie’s house! The location of the house is great for visiting places nearby like Cromer and Sheringham. Only contrunctive feedback I would say is the house could do with some tlc, the bed in the downstairs room could do with a better matress/frame and the downstairs shower room whilst fine to use would be even better if a larger shower was put in seeing as there is so much space! Overall a nice place to stay though!
