Great place for a couple, very romantic setting and great deal for a getaway. The local places are all within walking distance. We took a trip to Newcastle Island from here and loved it there. Wish we were staying longer to further explore the islands. Christina was very helpful and responsive to any requests as we needed help with getting to the island from Vancouver via the ferry during a long weekend.

My husband, dog, and I had a great time at Christina's for our honeymoon! We found Chemainus to be charming and easy to walk around, her place is just a couple minutes walk to the beach and there was even bio-luminescent algae to play with. We loved the bathtub (there was even enough hot water to fill it up completely!) and the charming little nooks. I loved writing and eating on the terrace. We were able to make a couple simple meals. For more complicated meals it would have been a bit of a challenge. We highly recommend staying here for a cozy and introverted time in a quiet small town with ample options for outdoor excursions.

The castle was very beautiful, looked just like the photos!! It was about a 10 min walk from any popular destination in the town. Christina was also very fast to respond when we had any issues :))

My boyfriend and I loved our stay here! We explored Chemainus over the weekend and adored the vibes of the Camelot Suite. The bed was so comfy, and the bathtub heavenly!
