Had a lovely time in this pretty house in the thick of the bars and restaurants of Parkstone. It’s so convenient. Parking too. Noise till late not a problem if you’re part of the action.

Amy is an incredibly hospitable, communicative, friendly and accommodating host. She left plenty of little amenities for us and the local milk was delicious! We were lucky to meet her and equally lovely in person. We struggled to park with two cars: our second car was a constant struggle as parking is only unrestricted on Sundays and after 6:30. Whilst the neighbourhood is very nice with great local producers and shops, we did experience an awful hot summer’s night when the pub opposite was open until 1am and everyone was outside making a lot of noise, loud music and breaking glasses. This didn’t end til 1:30/1:45am which when you have a young child is very hard to deal with. The next door neighbours spent two nights smoking weed and playing loud heavy metal with their back doors open which also did not make spending time in the garden enjoyable for us. The floor of the property could’ve done with a mop, there is no dishwasher which was a challenge for a family of 5, and the beds were quite firm and uncomfortable. However the cost per night was very reasonable for the area and the quality of the house is lovely, wouldn’t however recommend for families with young children mostly because of the pubs.

Lovely place in a nice neighbourhood! It was very clean and our communication with Amy was great! Definitely recommended!
