Immediately we arrived we knew we were going to have a lovely peaceful holiday. The house is set in a lovely country garden with access to an adjacent field. Gracie, our dog, loved being in the garden and running around the field. Marieanne couldn't have been more helpful. The food we feed Gracie has to be kept in a freezer if the stay is longer than 4 days. The fridge didn't have a freezer compartment so Marieanne looked after the food for us. We stayed for 12 lovely days and nights. The apple barn felt like home from home. Gracie had Marieanne's little dog to play with, on the occasions they were both out in the garden together. Marieanne quickly responded to any requests and was always very helpful but never intrusive. All in all a truly wonderful relaxing quiet place to stay. Thank you :-)

Marieanne’s place was perfect for our stay. Lovely comfortable beds, milk in the fridge, cereal in the cupboard, workkng Wi-Fi, clean and tidy with Marieanne’s personal touches of her lovely work around her homes. We all had fun on the trampoline in a lovely setting and our dog was happy running up and down the fences of the horses and sheep with all those new smells. Thank you Marieanne.

Such a lovey location and the cottage was perfect, had everything we needed for a long weekend. Marieanne was lovely, very friendly and always quick to get back to us. The kids loved all the animals as well!

We loved staying in the Apple barn. It was so peaceful and lovely to start the mornings with a cup of tea in the garden. My kids loved the horses and sheep and big trampoline in the field next door.
