An awesome place to stay with awesome people. They are locals who love to share their knowledge of the area. The property is gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. We hope to return!

Beautiful property - great location between Hilo, Pahoa, Volcano. Store and restaurant wise everything you need is 10-15 min away. The outdoor bathroom is a fully functional toilet, outdoor kitchen has everything you need. Shower is great. And the place itself was fantastic. Only thing to be aware of is if you spend much time outside be prepared for mosquitos since it rains a lot here. That is bring DEET. They had a lot of citronella candles, etc. Barbara and Michael went above and beyond - I had some odd sized bamboo I needed to cut to bring back to the US. Michael volunteered to help me cut it and even put a new blade on his miter saw for it. As many air bnbs I've stayed in this is a first for me. One thing to note - we didn't know we would be asked to come before a certain time for checkin which meant we had to change our plans because we planned to arrive late evening. So if you book please know they prefer an earlier check in. Everything else was fantastic!!

Had a wonderful time staying with Barbara and Michael! They were very welcoming and had great recommendations for food & fun! The cabin was beautifully done and extremely private! Would recommend this place again and again. Pictures and description exactly as shown! Mahalo
