Lovely cottage for us and our dog. Great location to get out about in north Cornwall. The place was clean and warm (especially with the log burner) and had everything we needed. The hot water pressure (apart from the shower) was low and was mentioned in the house manual.
We stayed at the cottage for 4 weeks in aug/sept with our young baby & dog. It was a fantastic stay. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. There is a 1 other house over the road that have a lovely family living there. Mary was a great host, very helpful & responsive to messages. The location is rural, approx 10 min drive to the nearest shop in Launceston and if that’s what you are looking for then the cottage is perfect. With the rural location, comes peace & quiet and amazing stars at night! The locality is excellent for exploring the north Cornwall or Devon area. There are various beaches that are stunning around 25 minute drive away. We visited many beautiful places during our stay. I would certainly recommend this property to anyone looking to explore Cornwall or Devon.
We had a lovely stay at the cottage . Our two boys enjoyed exploring , watching the buzzards and playing in the garden . The cottage felt very homely and comfortable . Mary’s welcome packs was really helpful , Taylor’s bistro was our number one pick for eating out following a recommendation from the welcome pack.
This is our second stay at the cottage having been there this time last year. It is perfect for our needs. It is within easy reach of Bude and Launceston. It is clean, comfortable and quiet. Beds are comfortable. Bathroom has full bath and an excellent separate shower. Kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils you would need if cooking there.
Mary was an excellent host providing a high level of very responsive communication. The property itself is very well appointed in a peaceful location yet well positioned for all that the North Cornwall coast offers. We stayed for an extended stay and enjoyed the time immensely. Highly recommended.
