Escape into a world of magical make believe set in the beautiful Cornish countryside. Our cosy cabin offers a comfortable, relaxing getaway. As the name suggests this unique accommodation offers magic in one pot. With nods to a large groundskeeper and a certain magical school. Situated within beautiful farmland in a peaceful hamlet a couple of miles from the A30, this is an ideal base to enjoy a break in Cornwall with easy access to popular destinations, stunning beaches and famous landmarks. The cauldron offers themed accommodation. Once through the front door you will find a well equipped kitchenette. Offering cooking facilities in the form of a combination Air fryer, Microwave and oven, there is also an additional portable 2 ring induction hob available. Fans of Harry Potter will recognise details in the living room which replicate the home of Rubeus. The sofa turns into a sofa bed for additional guests but is small so would suit one adult or two children . We can also supply an airbed and a travel cot on request at time of booking. Wifi along with a smart TV are available for guests to use. There are also books, games and the complete set of Harry Potter dvds for additional entertainment. In the bedroom fans will recognise many nods to the films and enjoy their surroundings from a very comfy king size bed. The en suite offers an invigorating shower although the cubicle is quite limited. Why not come and see it for yourselves. Well behaved dogs are welcome.

Came along for my wife and mines honeymoon and it was lovely! Lucy was extremely easy to communicate with. The Cauldron is right on their property which if you don't mind driving along some backroads that at first may seem difficult was very easy to remember. The little details of the place were a nice welcome and so much thought was put into the cauldron! I couldn't recommend it enough. my wife and I will definitely be returning!
Lucy & Stewart were great hosts, they welcomed us as soon as we arrived and said if we need anything please call us. The instructions to get us to our location were spot on. We really loved the experience of staying in this quirky accommodation.
I honestly cant recommend this amazing stay enough, my girlfriend is a huge Harry Potter fan, it was her 25th birthday so I took her away for a surprise and Lucy and Stewart done there absolute best to cater for it, they put up banners and balloons to make the home so special. The hosts are just a beautiful couple who are passionate about their home. They were so welcoming and it was truly a home from home. We will definitely be returning 100%. It has a lovely garden which our dogs loved as it’s private and gated, the instructions how to get to the lodge are spot on and led us right there. If you’re a Harry Potter fan, or just love a cozey home with a lovely fire place, this is the place for you. Absolutely amazing 10/10 Thank you Lucy and Stewart again for your amazing hospitality 😃

Wow ! What a find ! Lucy and Stuart are lovely hosts , incredibly welcoming and friendly , felt like nothing was too much , responded straightaway and made everything easy . Place itself is just incredible , what attention to detail . Every little thing is thought of and for the Harry Potter fan a true delight . Even if you aren’t a HP fan , I’d still recommend it . Absolutely beautiful place , with amazing hosts . Couldn’t be better ! Just amazing .

We live on what was once an old dairy farm, we have plenty of space and stunning views, finding us maybe tricky as we are off a private road but we will endeavour to get you here without too much hassle.

Hi there I’m Lucy and I live here in Trelaske Barton with my long suffering husband of 41 years Stewart, he has put up with (and also encouraged me) with my obsession of creating this Harry Potter retreat, I think you can tell I am a fan! I love to have a ‘project’ on the go particularly since our 4 sons left home. So watch this space! What will be next? We love living in Cornwall and enjoy the pace of life here . Beekeeping is our joint passion
