Lovely cottage in a very beautiful area, would definitely stay here again if we are in the area! Karen was very welcoming and helpful, plus we had a lovely cream tea on arrival.
Very nice location and the cream tea welcome was lovely. Sadly the upkeep of the property let this rental down. The downstairs bathroom was in need of some work and the mould around the bath was very off-putting. The boiler is very small, and therefore the volume of hot water was minimal, which is not ideal when the property has the option to cater for 6 people. After a long day at the beach that you can’t come home and all get cleaned up unless you want to wait a considerable amount of time after the last person showers/baths. Sadly, not a property we’d want to return to.
We had a wonderful week at Karen and Colin's home. They were very friendly, kind and accommodating (past what you would normally expect from a host). They went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible even though they were away themselves for 3 nights. Wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Karen and Colin as hosts and their home as a place to have a fantastic holiday.

Moved to Cornwall 16 years ago from the Southeast for the magical coast and countryside. I love Rylands as I can step out the front door and have lovely country walks all around me or hop into the car and see the sea in no time. Love travel, I have a house in France where I spend my time when not at Rylands for the wonderful cuisine and wine. Love meeting my guests from all over the world, often have a beer or glass of wine with them at the local pub!
