We had a wonderful stay. The home was filled with beautiful furniture and adorable antiques. Even though there were many antiques every amenity was available and accessible. We enjoyed walking the grounds, and visiting the area.

We had an amazing time at Mihai's historic farmhouse! The house was filled with beautiful antiques and furniture, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The large property was perfect for our dog to run around and explore, and we loved hiking the trails behind the house to the river. My husband even caught a rainbow trout! The house was also close to Minnewaska State Park, which was a great place to go for hikes. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Mihai's place, the Vernooy-Bevier House, was amazing. From start to finish, Mihai was helpful and responsive. She anticipated our questions and was very accommodating to our requests. Mihai's place perfectly balanced history and comfort. The house is historic - built around 1690 - and there are high ceilings and a great flow to the home. There are great antiques throughout, especially in the kitchen and dining area; at the same time, the kitchen has a large refrigerator and stove and there was a great dining table for 2-4 guests. There is a great little farm and 1800s barns on the property that are cool to explore. We even met the farmer and went to his place, the Damn Fine Honey Farm. Inside tip: the property abuts private hiking trails that take you to Vernooy Kills Creek. Side note: the area has great restaurants. Morning Sunshine, Twin Ravens, and The Paper Mill are great. We only stayed for a couple days. Thanks, Mihai, for an amazing time!
