A fantastic stay in Brookdale. Debbie & Chris were amazing hosts with great tips locally on where to eat, The Tiny Thai is highly recommended. The house is within 15 minutes of Padstow and a half an hour to the Eden Project and lots of amazing beaches and things to do. The house itself is pristine and just 5 minutes walk to the centre of Wadebridge and only 25 minutes to Newquay airport. Many thanks Debbie & Chris we hope to get back.

Spacious and well equipped house. Great for families. Nice location and private parking space. Wouldn’t recommend it for families with toddlers/young children for 2 reasons: 1 - the house is full of delicate decorative items and host wasn’t happy to remove them for our stay (there was even a Christmas tree with glass baubles); 2 - we had no control over the house heating. Changes were only made upon request and we didn’t feel comfortable asking more than once. At the end of our stay we were asked to remove all rubbish from the house and to place towels and bedding from 3 beds/bathrooms in designated laundry bags. We completed the task for fear of getting an unfair review from the host but this was definitely not part of the house rules as we wouldn’t have booked a place with such instructions.

Brookdale House is like a home from home. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and beautifully appointed. Debbie and Chris were very friendly and responsive. We had a super chilled family get together there, which is just what we needed.

What a wonderful 5 night stay at Brookdale! I took my partner and Mum, we had the full use of the house and all had our own good sized on-suite room, which was fantastic. The house was beautiful and exactly as the pictures show, it was well equipped, very clean, had super comfy beds with lovely fresh linen and towels! Debbie left us a delightful welcome basket full of treats, plus a little card for Mum (we were celebrating her Birthday), such a fantastic touch. The location was just as I hoped, a private parking space at the back, super easy to walk into town (down a small hill which was a little challenging for Mum as she has a walker, but she could do it). The town was really lovely, a great selection of independent shops, a few very good pubs and choice of food. Easy to travel out to the surrounding towns and villages, with a short drive to reach the coast. I would highly recommend a stay here, both at Debbie’s house and the location!

Description price was misleading . Property slept 6 but there was only self and wife. Asked for separate beds and was asked too pay an extra £30. Although , property quite pleasant there was a slight smell to the rooms . Gas boiler started up at 5 near bedroom , in the morning despite no heating . Couldn’t find how to turn off . Contacted Airb&bb about being asked to pay the extra in cash , but couldn’t as only had cards . Mentioned this to host who said , didn’t have too pay as made a mistake . Good parking and very nice garden.
