We were greeted by Richard's daughter, and she helped us get oriented. Location was great, it is hard to think of a better one - far away from the noise, yet close enough to everything. It took a bit of getting used to the stairs and the layout. The house was very large, and we had enough room for everyone. The cat was very nice, and we enjoyed playing with him. Richard was very helpful and responsive. We had a small issue with the shower, and Richard got someone to come right away to fix it working around our busy schedule. Overall our stay was amazing, and everyone wanted to say longer.

Richard's apartment is absolutely stunning. It's very spacious and decorated with incredible artistry and class. It felt very calm, almost meditative. Great place to spend quiet evenings after days of exploring or early mornings planning ahead while having a cup of very good espresso and freshly baked pastries from a nearby bakery that Richard recommended. The space is quiet and romantic. Beds are extremely comfortable, it was hard to get up in the morning. Location could not be better. It's just outside the busy area of the city, no more than 20 min walk to all the attractions Amsterdam offers and yet, it's peaceful, with the artsy interiors and greenery on the backyard creating this perfectly serene space. The Siamese house cat Mochi is a real bonus :). Very cute, playful and friendly, a true delight. Thanks to this house and our hosts, our stay in Amsterdam was absolutely perfect!

Beautiful house and garden, great location to discover Amsterdam. We really enjoyed and had nice time in Richard's home. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

We and our friends stayed for the PRIDE weekend in Amsterdam and we enjoyed our time in the Appartment. Check-in and out was effortless. Perfect for 5 people!
