We had the most wonderful stay at Kirby Cottage. Ali was so friendly and helpful and we arrived to such a warm welcome. Ali had put a lovely Christmas tree up and a few decorations which was magical. The cottage is so gorgeous and perfect for anyone with access needs as there’s a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The kitchen is extremely well stocked and the welcome hamper was greatly appreciated. The village itself is beautiful with plenty of walks to nearby villages. I would heartily recommend Kirby Cottage and very much hope to return. Thanks, Ali! Happy new year!

Kirby Cottage was an excellent place to stay during Christmas whilst visiting family in the area. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from our host Alison who provided a fabulous hamper and fridge essentials. We felt at home immediately and would not hesitate to recommend this lovely, well appointed cottage in Harome and hope to return there ourselves.

Had a fantastic holiday here in May 2022 for half term. Harome is a great location, the village is quite quiet, but it's close to Helmsley and Kirbymoorside which are both really nice with shops and restaurants. It's also convenient for trips to the Moors, Dalby or Sutton Bank - all of which are great. The cottage is fantastic, really, really nice, and very well equipped. Our boys loved the upstairs lounge / mezzanine with the bean bags. The shower is great too, always nice to have a proper hot shower after a day on the bike. The host, Alison, is lovely, and was always available to answer questions or suggest nice places to go. She even lent us her BBQ! All in all a great place to stay and highly recommended!

Great little cottage. Website information is fully accurate. Great location. Parking for two cars is a plus. Alison is a excellent and helpful host. We would book again with hesitation.
