We found this home comfortable and cozy; beds were comfortable and area was quiet. We sat on the deck and had deer families come up to us. The lake was walking distance; we visited the lodge several times, even though this time of year many things were closing up for the season but the lodge had offerings: meals, drinks, fireplace. The home is a block from a coffee shop, featuring huckleberry honey, jams and lotions! Also a block from the Wallowa Tramway, where we hiked the lookouts and had a delightful lunch with, of course, incredible views. While the cabin wouldn't be considered 'luxury', we had all of our needs met (hot showers, easy heat controls, plenty of living room seating and kitchen basics), and loved the tranquility of the home and the area.

Definitely the nicest place we've stayed in several visits to Wallowa. Very clean, great location, had everything we needed, and Robert was able to answer all of our questions! Thank you for a great stay, we would definitely come here again!

Very cozy, we especially enjoyed the two recliners to sit around the electric fireplace and drink our coffee in the morning. Lots of wildlife around and could easily walk to a couple of coffee places, a restaurant/store and the state park.

This vacation rental has a prime location near Wallowa Lake, but set back about half a block from the road so that it feels private. The back deck is perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or grilling in the evening. We really enjoyed being able to walk to so many places nearby: the lake, the lodge (nice bar!), groceries, the tram, coffee, and fun activities are all an easy walk out the door. Local hosts are next door. The house itself had a good layout for our extended family and we were very comfortable — wish we could have stayed longer!
