The first night I had cockroach. The host put product to kill them and reacted quickly.You don't have access to the living room as written in the pictures. You have access to half of a mini fridge in your room. Gina is smoking in the shared space (kitchen) so it smells cigarettes. You're not allowed to keep any plates more than 2 hours. I left because of the cockroach, the smell of the cigarettes and the fact hat I didn't felt welcomed in the shared space. When I cancelled the reservation Gina knocked at my door while I was packing my stuff and asked if she could come see if they were any cockroach, I let her in. She started to move the furnitures and as the room is really small I asked her if she could do this in a few minutes because I was leaving any minute, she said to me that she was allowed to stay in the room because I already canceled the reservation. So I ignored her and I guess she understood that I didn't felt respected at the moment because she left the room.

I loved staying here and would stay again! Gina, the host was super helpful when I asked for directions, recommendations, didn’t hesitate to resolve any problems. She was very clean which I appreciate a lot. The neighborhood was friendly. Lots of grocery stores near by. The trains and buses were very helpful where I didn’t have a car. All within a 10 minute walk. 10/10 would recommend. I felt right at home. Pucci was also the sweetest company. Such a chill dog. Never caused any issues. Gina even happily refunded me money when we realized my dog wasn’t able to come with me. So happy with my stay. ❤️

Nice and safe home, host, and neighborhood. I was happy to find a comfy home to stay with my cat :) Gina is a good vibes person, who protects the home and is available for support anytime. 👍 Perhaps consider to adjust your hours if you have any zoom meetings from 8am. or the owner can adjust the quiet hours from 6am to later. other than that, really-thank you for accepting my stay short notice. I apologize for the trouble… I was trying each day to be mindful for you as you were for me. Thanks again for all your help.

My trip to NY was business related - traveling single female WITH my dog. I needed a safe place to sleep and store my belongings. I needed my dog to feel safe and welcomed. I got all of that AND MORE. Gina has become a friend. Her willingness to love -- to help, to be of service, to communicate, to be welcoming -- there really isn't a price tag you can put on that kind of HUMANITY. She sets the example. Her home is VERY clean; she provides clean rooms, linens, bath towels, and comfort amenities (snacks, tissue, water, etc.). Thank you Gina! I appreciate you! Other details: I enjoyed walking my dog at night without fear. The neighbors are also friendly. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the train, 20 minute ride to Brooklyn/Bedford-Stuyvesant; the A train drops you at Nostrand. I depend on the reviews. You can depend on this one!
