We had a great stay at Marc’s place! The home is a lot bigger than it looks on the outside and had plenty of space for all of us. Was a quick and easy check in and my son loved seeing the horses! Also really appreciated the ac unit in the back room as it was nice and cool all night. Thank you again!

Marc’s place was amazing! We were in awe of how the neighborhood was so peaceful and welcoming. The home feels like home! So much room and space. The horses across the street are a real treat to walk out to every morning. We took several walks around the beautiful neighborhood. San Antonio is a great balance of calm and excitement and we found that with Marc’s brilliant location and welcoming home. We’ll be back!

Cute old house on a quiet not-yet-gentrified street across from a military facility with grazing horses! Several clean and comfortable beds are placed throughout the house that has some interesting vintage hardware and other features. Would be a good spot for a larger group. The air conditioning fully cooled the house during a very hot day. There were laundry machines and detergent to refresh our clothes. The reason we can’t give a better review of the sparsely furnished house is that the smell of cleaning products was almost overwhelming and we couldn’t use the large walk-in shower because the tiles and caulking were discolored with accumulated dirt and mold. The tub in the other bathroom also suffered from cracked and discolored caulking, a drain that backed up within 5 minutes, and a dirty floor. We reached out to the host who vowed to investigate. We are sorry to say anything negative, but other reviewers did not warn us and it would have really helped us to know this beforehand.

Thanks, Marc. It was a great intro to San Antonio. Nice in that country setting. And Pat the horses grave across the street, just a bonus! Yes, you could truly walk to the Pearl brewery
