We had a great stay at Anna Mae's. It was very peaceful and perfect for my family to get where we wanted to be daily. I would recommend to stay there to all.

We enjoyed our stay! The owners are so sweet and have such caring hearts! They made us feel right at home! They have a beautiful big house & property, so peaceful & quiet, several outside sitting areas (porch or patio). We were welcomed with a bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table and given cookies when we left! It was fun to find out that they knew the family member we were planning to visit and went to the same church! We were glad we were the only guests staying here because there are 2 other bedrooms on the same floor that get used sometimes as well. Another negative thing was there was only one sink that's used for the kitchen as well as the bathroom.

Attention: Air B&B is certainly not a venue for proselytizing by a host. Very offensive! Initially, it seemed like just what we needed for our weekend visit with friends in the area. But on returning to the house around 9:30 on our second night, Anna Mae met us at the door, and said she gave all her guests a gift, which we could accept or not. Then she offered us tiny Bibles, and launched into telling us her story of speaking with God, and also attempting to push her religious beliefs on us. She left no space for us to interrupt graciously. We listened respectfully for about 20 minutes, but when she confronted us with questions about what church we were brought up in and how many Bibles we had, I let her know clearly, and in an even tone, that we were not Christian and did not appreciate this intrusion. The whole interaction deeply insulted us. It was shocking to witness such disrespect for (ignorance of?) proper boundaries between host and guest.

Beautiful old farmhouse with 3 upstairs rooms for lease. I stayed in the larger one that had a shower and kitchenette, beautiful property, I was able to do some bird photography and enjoyed eating by the pond. Anna Mae are very hardworking and kind and suite was roomy and clean. I usually stay in Airbnbs with separate entrances so it was a little different to walk into someone’s home but upstairs is quieter. Good access to coastal activities in MD and VA sides. Thanks for your hospitality!

Anna Mae was very friendly and helpful to any questions that we had. The room was clean and well furnished. The room is upstairs and was pleasantly bigger than expected, but since the climate control unit is turned off in-between guests it took a long time for the room to get to a comfortable temperature.
