Our home here is spacious and quiet! Surrounded by nature, trees, nearby beach to enjoy sunsets and best of all the simple songs of the birds. Bring your fishing pole, boat ,kayak , yoga or meditation mat! Vintage Pirate House was built in 1901. Standing tall in its glory for over one hundred years! It is an old farm house that has been kept in solid condition over the years. Not perfect but just right , some describe it as a cabin feel, others enjoy its doll house like character. It is a 2 story house with 3 comfy, clean bedrooms on second floor, hardwood floors and large hallway closet. Bathroom, fully stocked kitchen, dining room and living room with tv on first floor. There is WiFi throughout property with good signal. There is also a screened porch to relax or have coffee in morning while listening to the sounds of nature. Very spacious with plenty of room for friends and family to spread out. This is a historic home with everything very functional. Leave all your worries behind because you can truly relax in our home On most days during the warm season there is a nice breeze with all the water surrounding property but some days the bugs are out so be prepared and bring bug spray During winter there are no bugs of course. The property has a nice long driveway for several cars or car/truck with boat trailer. There are 2 porches, one in front entrance of house and one in rear entrance, which is where you enter . There is room for gear on either porch if guests wanna bring equipment for their outdoor activities. Coolers, fishing poles, kayaks, bicycles , beach chairs ect. The local Chance / Deal Island beach and boat dock is approximately 6 miles from property. The beach is sandy and you can swim in the bay water when the weather is nice. You can also take a few beach chairs and sit on beach and watch the working boats catching crabs or oysters depending on season. Ole Pirate House sits back off of main road and is in perfect location to ride bicycles as its location is connected to other back, winding country roads.
