We were uninformed that almost everything was closed during the time we went. Also this time of the year is still cold for hikes and walking around. The house was nice, but I think could have used some blinds or curtains in kitchen/dining area especially since there are homes close by. It’s still a nice house.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was charming with wonderful history attached. I’d highly recommend this quiet little home in Keystone!

When we arrived at the property, the cemented slab under the car port area on the back side of the house did not give us access to the back door, so we had to secure the house from the front door every time we wanted to leave. That would not have been a problem except the access code with the instructions were not clear when entering the property so I had to call the owner. On our first night we pulled the sofa bed, which should have been a fourth bed according to the listing, out for my 11-year-old son and it was dirty. Since he had to sleep on the sofa since there was no access to a vacuum, I asked for a partial refund. The rest of the house and amenities were spot-on. It was nice to have a kitchen to cook in and all of us to have our own space to go to unlike a hotel. When I brought some of my concerns to the property owner instead of offering to fix them, they immediately went to "it sounds like you're not happy with the property we would be happy to refund you so you can leave"
