The Kona Sugar Shack was all that was listed in the description and more. We were traveling with eight children, ages 2-12, and having the pool was the absolute best. The beach was a big hit but there were times that it was so much easier for them to hop into the pool. Michelle provided a wide variety of pool toys, life jackets, and fun beach items that we didn't have to buy a thing. On the inside of the house, the beds were comfy and the bathrooms were so clean.

What a beautiful home in a beautiful setting! My extended family of 18 spent 5 days here and made lifelong memories. Our kids enjoyed the pool and we all enjoyed the beach right across the street. The layout was the house was different than I expected. Two of the family suites were separate from the main part of the house. The room with the king bed and pull out couch in a separate room was accessible from the main house but also had it's own entrance. The other king room with a pullout couch had a separate entrance that was not connected to the main house. This worked great for us since family groups were able to have a little bit of their own space. The host was very responsive. We tried to use a beach umbrella and it was broken. We let the host know and she brought a new one over right away. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend it to anyone booking a Hawaii vacation!

The Sugar Shack was a great place to stay. Michelle was a great and easy host to communicate with. The house has everything you could need. The location was nice with a beach and cafe right across the street.

Our stay at the sugar shack was so amazing! We had 8 adults and 7 kids and had plenty of space to spread out. Views couldn’t be better. Loved having two washers and two dryers in the laundry. Kitchen had all the appliances, tools and equipment we needed. The kids lived in the pool and had an amazing time with all the provided pool toys, floaties, etc. Michelle was a wonderful host and responded to all of my questions promptly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I wish we could go back every year!

Our family of 10 had a wonderful vacation at Magic’s Sugar Shack. The house is designed for each guest to have some private space or for everyone to gather, especially on the outside deck and poolside. The kitchen was well equipped with absolutely everything we needed including basic condiments and spices. Beds were comfortable as was all furniture. We especially appreciated all the extra towels and beach equipment. The view from the upper deck is spectacular! The tide and waves are up any beach while we were there but Michelle gave us several other nearby alternatives. Overall we truly loved having such a perfect house for us all to stay together.
